Re: A How To for the GRE (by flounder)
Hello
I am relatively new here and planning for GRE test within 5 or 6 months. I am interested to know what should be the frequency of learning new words. 100-200 per week or even more pace. |

Re: A How To for the GRE (by flounder)
Does anyone know if "Gre Secrets" is really so great as it's stated on the company's website? What about ARCO words for smart test takers? What's your opinion? I don't know... for me as an international student Barrons' 3500 list seems so hard! I can't even imagine to fill up my brains with all those words. Do you think arco is enough for around 400-600?

Re: A How To for the GRE (by flounder)
I have about 1 month. I wonder if that is enough time? I am aiming at a 500 verbal and 700 math. I bought the Barron's 15th ed GRE book with cd. Got around the same score for SATs but poorly on the GMAT. For some reason, the GMAT's verbal section killed me (probably the critical reasoning and reading comps)
What do you guys think from experience? Most people say that 3-4 months is enough time but I only have till May....... |
