Would you please recommend a list of the most useful books for GRE ? ( the general test )

Here's what's on my bookshelf that I would recommend:

Official Guide (practice questions)
Princeton Review, Cracking the GRE (strategy/tests)
Word Smart for the GRE (for vocab)

And of course, the official practice tests, Powerprep. Those are free from www.gre.org.

Barron Sucks.. i finish the whole barron book and i did the CAT test 4 times, Average Practice test score V500 Q 760. When i take the real test last week, my V339 Q710

I brought kaplan to boast my verbal..

Maybe i am just stupid but seriously, you might want to reconsider doing barron alone.

For math, i recommend NOVA, Kaplan and ARCO CD.
For verbal, you need to practice from different references, Barron and Kaplan are good ones.
