GRE 1040 in second attempt

Hi,

I have an aggregate academic score of 62% from Mumbai University, India. I have a work experience of about one and a half year in a MNC. I want to pursue my Masters in Computers in US. I had aimed 1300+ in GRE. To my surprise, I scored 1090 in my first attempt and 1040 in second attempt.

I have no hopes of scoring in the third attempt. I am very confused. What score will be considered. First or second. Is it worth giving it the third time?

U can try one more time..coz the GRE requirement will be more for Computer science departments in many schools.

I would like to say that a number of top universities I've looked at strive to point out that there is no minimum GRE score. One of them expressed that they like to see 90th percentile scores but none say they are essential.

For your sake, I hope neither are considered. You better bring it up to at least a 1200 before application time.
