All my best wishes to Sanjay!!
Sanjay is about to take his GRE test. I think Sanjay is better at math (overall) than I am. I really think the dude is sharp. He got a friggin' 49/50 on the GMAT math practice test without even practicing once. I managed a 48/50 and I had seen a bunch of practice problems in the past. GMAT math is harder than GRE math. With a little familiarity he would have gotten 50/50 easily. I would have needed to take some practice tests to get the 50/50. He's a smart dude! He was scoring high on the edusoftech and Catprep GRE tests and those tests are VERY HARD. I think that the ceiling on the edusoftech BIG CBT tests is probably around 180 IQ (standard deviation of 15). Anything over 26/28 correct on those tests is truly brilliant.
I don't want to put pressure on him, but I have full confidence that he will get an 800 in quant. I want to see if my prediction is correct. This will be one of the most accurate indications of whether or not the new test is truly hard. If Sanjay states that the current GRE quant is hard, then I got lucky with an easy version. The only way I see him scoring less than 800 is if he has takes a tranquilizer, panics, or if he gets sick and throws up in the middle of the test. Let's see if my prediction is correct (assuming he decides to share his score). If the GRE quant was easy for me, I can't imagine what it will be like for him. No pressure, Sanjay. ![]() Again, good luck to Sanjay! He deserves all the best. GRE_Kickboxer |
