Exclamation Got GRE 1580, Need help urgently!

Hi guys, firstly thanking the OOO (Omnipresent, Omnipotent & Omniscient), I got 1580 in GRE yesterday and I'm more than pleased to announce that it's finally over (in a happy way

But I got a major problem ahead and I need some frank advise to make up my mind. Plz help me. Here's my profie:-

1. I'm a B.Tech. in Mechanical engg. from a reputed university. Have a combined work-ex of 10 months (7 of them in a reputed automobile company) in two companies.

2. 69% (7.27/10 CGPA) in engg.

3. One technical paper for which I won prizes in 2 different college fests.

4. Project on "Study and prediction of concentration profile in a slurry pipeline".

5. 2 months industrial training on "Study of Multi-Point-Fuel-Injection and atomization"

But here's the root of all my worries,

6. I got a backlog in one paper (Mechanical Vibrations) in the 8th sem. It's clear now but I'm worried if it'll have a negative impact on my application. Actually I'm not even sure if I have to tell the universities about it. My mark sheets don't reflect it anywhere! I only aspire to get admission in one of the top 20 universities and that pretty much explains why I prepared so hard for the GRE.

So guys here I'm. Please evaluate my profile and tell me if it's possible for me to get a top 20 admit assuming that I manage a decent set of SOP and recommendations?

Plz advice so that I can decide on my future course of action.

Buy looking at your profile, you should apply to top 20 universities.

and what about the backlog? Should I declare it? My marksheets don't show any such thing anywhere so how will the universities even know that I ever had one?

And what do you think are my chances overall in the top 20?
