Books and profile

Hi..This is Krish..I am into my 3rd yr of Comp. Sci. Engg...
Pls suggest books for preparing (GRE and TOEFL) and expectations of good Universities in the US so that i can improve my profile..

I am using Barron's for Verbal and Kaplan for math. You can also look through the Princeton Review and The Big Book. I took TOEFL 4 years back and as far as I know the format of the test has changed considerably since then. So I am not very sure which books are good for TOEFL. Barrons might have a book on TOEFL. May be you want to try it out.
I do not exactly know what you meant by good universities. But most universities in USA base their admission decision on these factors:
- GRE score
- GPA
- Essays that you have to write for the schools
- Letters of Recommendation
- Research Experience
- Extracurricular Activities
