Hi Friends,
I am planning to take up GRE this year. can anyone of you tell me when can I reserve my dates if I start my preparation from July. I will be happy if you can guide me on what materials to use. I know a few books for GRE after going through this forum. But I am confused what to buy and what not. The books are Kaplan, Barron's, Princeton, Arco's GRE, Nova GRE and of course powerprep. Do I have to buy all these books or can you tell me what is sufficient for the test. Thank you very much for this valuable site. |

Don't schedule your test until you've started studying so that you can get a good idea of how much time you'll need to study. Figure 2-3 months.
Start with Cracking the GRE and Powerprep. Get Word Smart for the GRE for vocab. After you've gone through those materials, you'll know if you need to buy more. Those were the only ones I bothered with! |
