Any IELTS Recheck experience for speaking test?

Hi Guyz
I am really shocked with my IELTS speaking test score. Well i got 7 in all three parts. Moreover in my first attempt i got 7 in speaking. Kindly advise its better to go for recheck?

Well my current score of speaking is 5.5 in my 2nd attempt and in my first attempt i got 7. I need just 6 in speaking , means i am just short of 0.5 band.

I don't think it will be worth it to get a rescore. It cost more, about $200 and they will send the tape to London, so unless you are in London, just take the test again. It may take up to 2 months for a rescore, while you can get your result in 2 to 3 weeks for a new test.

Well i m from Saudi Arabia and the next available date for exam is 13th December, so i need to wait for the exam too. If i go for recheck it will finalized before the next exam date....what u say?

Since you have the time and if you want to spend the money, go for it. Last thing to think about is that according to the IELTS people (second hand source, someone told me) that less than 1% gets a higher score after a rescore.

Speak slowly and clearly, make sure you answer the question and in part1 and 3 speak at least 30 seconds and for part 2, speak 1 min to 1min 30 seconds. Practice speaking out loud for 20 minutes everyday. Good luck!

Hi Guyz There is good news, today i get the result of remarking of ILETS speaking test, now its upgraded to 7 from 5.5.........guyz this simply surprised me...........i m really happy that i don't need to redo the IELTS to apply for AU immigration. Regards Hasan
