ielts2u just joined TestMagic.
No. Both IELTS and TOEFL use a mixture of British, American, Canadian and Australian accents. In addition, both British and American spelling are acceptable in both tests. The form of English you have learned will have no impact on your score in either test.

I do agree with the other writers, though, that IELTS is easier than the current TOEFL.
