Tell me pleace whatever like plan what i should wrote in essay which refer to social, political and questions about government activities.

In most of the societies the role played by a mother and a father is different. What is the reason and how it will change in the future.

A person should spend public money on a lifestyle that prevents illness or should that money be spent to help other people who are critically ill.

In some countries nowadays more people prefer to live alone than in the past. Do you think this is a positive or a negative development?

It’s important for the government to spend more money on promotion of people’s health rather than medical treatment.Do you agree or disagree? Please give your opinion.

Not an easy one this. Essentially you have two choices - the opinion essay and the argument essay.

The difference between them is that in the opinion essay you put your opinion about the question in the introduction and then develop why you hold that opinion in two more topic paragraphs with a brief summary at the end. The argument essay tends to be a touch easier. Your introduction summarises the issue behind the question and why it is important. Then you have two topic paragraphs looking at both sides of the issue in turn. The conclusion is your final opinion.

But planning is a bit more complicated than that and it is essential you get it right if you want to write well. To help you out here is one of my resources on IELTS essay planning with one of my sample essays

Planning an IELTS Essay
This is not a model plan. It is simple designed to illustrate some of the planning processes for an iELTS essay.

Sample question
Some people say that the Internet is making the world smaller by bringing people together. To what extent do you agree that the internet is making it easier for people to communicate with one another?

Analysing the question
The first step is to stop and understand the question.
Note the topic carefully, it may have two parts to it. Don’t write about only one part.
Then look at the question. Look to see what range of language you need.

Topic: the internet and communication: you need vocabulary for IT and communication
The question: “To what extent do you agree that the internet is making it easier for people to communicate with one another”
this is a present tense question: it’s about today’s world so you should be using present tenses mostly
it’s about the internet and communication and the link between the two: don’t write about IT generally, remember to focus on communication
you may need language for cause and effect to talk about the relationship
the question asks for a personal opinion about to what extent you agree with what other people say. You will need to express personal opinions and write about others’ opinions

Vocabulary
Now brainstorm vocabulary for the key words in the question. Don’t worry about ideas yet, concentrate on possible words: these will stimulate ideas. Just spend 2/3 minutes writing down words as they occur to you.
Key words in the question are
the internet: ⇒ computers, websites, IT, technology, computer literacy, internet access, email, chat, modems, programs
communication:⇒ talk, write, email, telephone, face to face, long distance, post, stamps, international,

Reasons
Sometimes it is difficult to come up with ideas under pressure. Instead, try and think of reasons why or why not, this tends to be easier to do in practice.
Reasons why: it is now possible to talk to people in other countries instantly; it is cheap;
Reasons why not: most of the internet is spam - nothing to do with communication; people send emails rather than talking; censorship in some countries

Examples
It is important to extend your ideas to make your writing coherent and not just list many points. The simple way to do this is to use real life examples as this is easier when under pressure. It also helps extend your range of vocabulary.
Example 1: international communication: friends in other countries or going to live abroad.
Example 2: business communication:
Example 3: families: can everyone in the family understand the technology?

Organising the ideas
The final stage in the process is to organise your ideas into an essay format. Note that this means selecting and rejecting ideas which you have language for and address the question.
Typically, the essay can be organised into two topic paragraphs: one in favour of the proposition, the other against it.
Introduction: interesting topic: very relevant to today’s changing world
For: the internet does help communication for individuals particularly in other countries. Also good for business
Against: not everyone can use the internet particularly the older generation
Conclusion: on balance it helps, but will do so more in the future

The essay
Undoubtedly, one of the most significant innovations in recent years has been the internet, as it has changed the way we live or lives in many ways. However, perhaps the most significant advance has been in the way we communicate. The question is whether communication has become easier or not.

There are those who argue that the internet has had an extremely positive influence on communication. They say this because in the past it was sometimes impossible to call people in other countries on the telephone, but now it is relatively simple to use a program such as Skype to talk to them for free or to send an email. A good example here are the students who go to study abroad and are able to send messages home with no difficulty, when in past they would have had to buy stamps and go to the post office which was much harder and more expensive.

There is, however, an important qualification to be made. The internet and IT in general are not always easy to access. There are two grounds for saying this. Firstly, there are countries where there is not universal internet access because of censorship or poor technological infrastructure. Secondly, the older generation can find it difficult to learn to use the technology or install a modem. If we use the same example, a grandmother would probably prefer to send a letter through the post or make a simple telephone call than try using the net.

My own personal feeling is that the internet has made it simpler to communicate for most people, but not for everyone. This will probably change in the future when there is a greater level of computer literacy among all generations.

For vocabulary the internet is the answer: it's way more flexible than books. A good place to start is with the Academic Word List
This will give you a headstart with the necessary core academic words. If you like you can try my short Academic Word List - Dominic Cole's IELTS resources on it. You'll also need plenty of content language too: the BBC Learn English site is fantastic - I particularly like the Words in the News section - perhaps the largest reading/listening/vocab database on the net. If you want a more structured approach, you could try reading RSS feeds on IELTS topics.

Could give you more ideas, but the danger is trying to do too much. Don't try more than 10 words a day - that's plenty. Also remember that you need to use the words to learn them - memorising doesn't do much good.

Interesting.

Didn't know that British Council were uploading pirated books. Must be a new policy I suppose.
