What is fatherhood or motherhood? Fatherhood is the period of life one spent being father and motherhood is period of life spent being mother. Both the parents play very important role in raising children.
Family is made of parents and their offspring. Father and mother makes the basic foundation of family. If the decision of growing their family depends on both parents then how can raising children be the sole responcibility of woman?.
Babies are more dependent and close to mother till the age of one year. After one year they can recognise their parents. as they grow, they see their father in the role of leader of the family. They develop faith on their father that if anything wrong happens in their life their father can correct it. They see father as a hero.They watch, observe their father and try to be like him. Most of the children have this image of their father. But this image need some efforts to be developed like, spending more time with kids, try to understand their feelings, try to teach them right things. When I was of school going age my father always read me story of a tortoise who was to lie and how he gets punished for being untruthful. My father hate lying and i have never seen him lying. For me also talking truth is very important principal of my life and I always stick to it no matter what happens.
Children are very innocent. One can train them as they want. So, it is the responcibility of both the parents to raise their children as a good human being.
