Lightbulb IELTS & TOEFL Made Easy

I aspire to migrate to Australia. I wanted to pass IELTS. But I found it to be bit difficult.. By chance one of my friends recommended to me the book, “IELTS & TOEFL Made Easy”. This book with 3 CDs is all that anybody wants to prepare for IELTS. I am happy to say that I got more than the required score only because of this book. It is a great book on vocabulary, grammar, essays, reading techniques etc..

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Parents are the best teachers.

Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Parents play an important role in the bringing up of their children. They support their children and tell a great deal abut how to live a life. It is disagreed that despite some very good characteristics parents have, they can’t be the best teachers of their children. By taking help from other people and understanding their children, parents can help their children for success in their lives.

First of all, parents are able to have knowledge in some fields, but not all the fields. It is not true that parents know everything in the world. For example, a very famous physicist can’t teach his children chemistry, though he is very good at physics because his knowledge of chemistry isn’t enough to teach his children. So that’s why parents always search for good teachers to teach their children what they need to learn properly. This example clearly shows that sometime parents have very limited knowledge. As a fact, they need help for the better future of their children.

Secondly, parents want to teach their children by their ways/EXAMOLE. They are right, and they are wrong sometimes. For those who are uneducated, they can be good parents, but hardly good teachers. For instance, it’s not simply to telling children what they should do and what they shouldn’t. However, In this case they just want their children to obey them without any decent explanation for their behavior. There is no doubt, parents should understand and listen their children” s needs.

In brief, parents aren’t always good teachers though they might be good parents.
I think, to be good teachers, it is the way they educate their children, which they should be concerned with rather than the way they love their children. By understanding and giving chance to our generation, they can achieve their own respectable position in the society.
