In many countries children are engaged in some kind of paid work. Some people regard this as completely wrong, while others consider it a valuable work experience, which is important for learning and taking responsibility. What is your opinion?

In some cultures young children are involved in working for a little amount of money. There are some people who argue that forcing children to work in early ages is utterly unacceptable, while others think that it would be beneficial in terms of having work experience since childhood.

The supporters of the point ,which rejects the view that children should work , claim that it would be wise to motivate the youngers to study well and they should be delivered high-quality education. This means a better education can affect more positively to the rest of their lives rather than early working habits. For example, a well-educated child can be a decent citizen for community and in other aspects of life, i.e. being a parent ,wife or husband.

Another convincing point of this opinion is that adults should not interfere children’s early life and steal their joy of childhood. In other words, making kids work for money can keep them under stress in early ages as well as later in life. For instance, a child who always works for a certain amount of money, can be dependent of materialism and cannot formulate humanist characters such as helpfulness, love , caring about others.

The opponents of this view, however, feel that by working in childhood kids can gain some crucial work experience and understand value and necessity of money. Furthermore, they will learn taking responsibility since younger years. In particular, if a child can understand the difficulty of life,he or she always be prepared for these challenges.

In conclusion, although it must be said that both views have true sides, I would say that it would be wise to let the children live their life as a child and they should be taught to pay more attention to education or other qualities of humans rather than taking responsibility of gaining money.
