State which you consider to be the most effective. · comics · books · radio · television · film · theatre There are benefits and drawbacks of TV, radio and books which are used to convey information. In my opinion TV is the most effective medium among these communication channels . The main advantage of books is that they are considered reliable source of information. People tend to refer to books if they need to research the topic in depth. Therefore, books still plays an important role in our life. On the other hand, as time passes books go out of date and it is impossible to get information regarding latest news. Radio is much more effective medium than books for communicating news. In addition we can implement other works such as driving, training and so on while listening to the radio. On the other hand, compared to TV and book, there is no visual element which means that we cannot see what we hear. Among these media channels television can be considered best effective medium. Because it bring us closer to the real events where we can observe the accident happed in the other side of the world when it takes place or we can see the gestures or mimics of the interviewer when the programme is going on. The disadvantages of TV are that programs are tend to be short and frequent interrupted by advertisements and due to lack of time limited quantity of the information is presented. To sum up, each of medium channel – book, TV and radio has its own drawbacks and benefits and it seems that television is the best communication channel among these.
