Relationship - band score and correct answers out of 40

Hi,

I currently work on IELTS sample tests with hopes to sit for IELTS very soon. I consistently score 33~35 correct ansewers out of 40 in listening and above 34 our of 40 in GT reading.
Can anybody tell me what king of band score I will receive If I perform similarly at the test for these two modules. I have asked a lot of people but no one could give me this information.

I have even wrote to IELTS website and Oxford university but they could only say that it would depend on the difficulty level of any particular test. I AM LOOKING FOR A GENERAL IDEA ONLY.

Can't tell you what grade you will get but considering that there are 9 bands and 40-41 QS I think that you can draw some conclusions.

One thing I understand (don't quote me) is the actual banding changes depending on how hard that particular test is on that occasion.
