I just got my ielts results!!
Listening: 9
Reading: 9
Writing: 7
Speaking: 8
Overall band score: 8.5

I know this is my first post but it doesn't mean I wasn't around . This forum helped me a lot with all the material I downloaded and the tips I got from reading the threads

Actually I need your help. Is this your first time taking IELTS? How did you prepare yourself? I mean did you participate in any class? How long did you study?
I live in canada and I need 7. First time I got 6.5.
I am trying to study but what I need to improve is writing and reading. can you please give me any suggestion or what you did to improve your reading.

I need 6.5 to get in university but my skill in reading and writing is not good. How can i improve that.

hello all im sorry i didnt reply all this time. I took a month off to travel ^^
As for my preparation I mostly used the Cambridge books and did several mocks tests mainly to practice my listening. The idea is to work the part where you are the weakest. I came everyday to this forum to just read about other people's advice and suggestion.
