Where did you get Target 7? I hope it is good as people claim. As for study, start with your grammar and work your way up to Insight in to Ielts, now for Insights, do you have the old one or the new one that came out this year. After you finished the Insight and Insights Extra, start work on practice tests. Good luck!

My suggestion is don't forget your general English - it's very easy to be carried away by IELTS skills and strategies and textbooks, but the truth of it is that the best way to get a good score is to have good general English.

Practically speaking read as much as possible. Newspapers and academic journals are great for vocabulary building, but only if you do it in a focussed way. A really exceptional tool for this is the Academic Word List - the 550 most common words in academic writing. If you can master that it would really help you in all 4 skills. A good link to help you here is AWL

Another good way to prepare for IELTS is to listen to as much spoken English as possible. A great way to do this is to listen to NPR or the BBC online podcasts. This will help you with the speaking and listening modules on the exam.

In addition to studying the grammar and mechanics of English, you should also try to get exposure to as much “real-world” English as possible. I recommend that my students set a goal to read articles in English newspapers every day. In addition, listening to spoken English will help you build on your skills. You can find podcasts of radio programs at websites for NPR or the BBC.

Doing these two things will expose you to the structure of the language and new vocabulary. As an added benefit, being well-versed in current event topics may give you some inspiration for your essay.

It looks like you have some materials for practicing the exam modules. These will definitively aid your success on the exam. Good luck!
