Hey, This is Amit from N.Delhi!

Hey everyone,
I'd been reading the GMAT forum for quite sometime, esp for the AWA and SC stuff for GMAT. And saw this "intro" forum for the first time.
I thought I could introduce myself and could probably begin networking with some of you guys going for higher studies.
I am 23, and am residing in New Delhi. I've a bachelor's degree in EE, with more than two years of work-ex. My career graph has been something like this:
Internship with a big semi-conductor firm in Bangalore; first job with a start-up, this time in telecom domain with a bit of focus on FPGAs, again in Bangalore; current job in delhi: working with a small group of guys on EDA tools (more focus towards software this time than hardware).
I somehow haven't been enjoying what I do, and want a lateral switch in career. I'm one of those for whom money is not the motivation, and who doesn't believe in specialization and superspecialization, for I tend to get bored easily. I want to live a life rather than be caught in the rat race, which I feel I'm caught up in. An MBA, I thought would provide me a break from total techi stuff. And thats the reason I took GMAT.
My scores are GMAT: 750, GRE: 2300 (valid only for six more months).
I've yet to decide, where to apply to, what for to apply to. I read in a post somewhere that there are too many Indian-Male-IT kind of guys applying for MBA in top univs. Could anyone tell me what do other people from other countries do? Frankly speaking, I don't know of too many career options, unless one wants to be an entrepreneur.
And yes, I don't have all the money the world, and would ideally want to apply to three or four univs.
People who stay in Delhi, and who are applying this fall, and have the required fundae, and have the time: would they be willing to help?
I do not know if this is the correct forum to network, but I think it is.

Hi, Amit. Welcome to the forums.

I like the sound of your goals; I also prefer quality of life to simply making more money.

There plenty of high-achievers here, and I'm confident many of our visitors will be influential in the future.

Nice to have you on board.
