funny

I love this forum. I'm addicted to it, what can I say.

Quick intro, though a little late. I'm 28 and a retail banker from Managua, Nicaragua. My husband and I would like to go to b-school in Europe next year. I'm also half italian so having my EU passport makes things easier for both of us.

Hey, Erin, I read somewhere that you are from DC but are now running a bricks and mortar school in San Francisco. The weird thing is, I went to college in the SF Bay area (south bay), and when I finished I moved to the DC area (Arlington) and lived there for 2 years. I worked in DC and commuted from right across the river. Funny coinkidink, huh? I'm very fond of both DC AND San Fran, or "the city" as we used to call it at school.

Congrats on this website. You did a phenomenal job.

Smile Re: funny

And a bit funnier--the last place I lived in the DC area was Arlington, but I worked in DC. And the commute could be a blast when I did it on my bicycle. You know that bike trail that runs right next to Route 66? Well, I found I could get from my place in Arlington to Georgetown in about ten minutes (it's mostly downhill). Coming back, though, took about 30 minutes! I really liked Arlington; I think it was my favorite place to live.

Glad you like the forum and the site. Some big changes are coming up, and I hope they make our members happy.

Welcome! And thanks for introducing yourself.
