Guys and gals, first of all, thank you everbody here for wonderful discussions and useful guidelines.
My target was (rather is) 680 minimum. If anybody would take an advice from me, it's 2 words: don't panic Unfortunately, that's what made me flunk even easy questions in verbal section. In late feb, I started with weekend preparation course (4 full saturdays) with an hour of study every week day. Initially, I had scheduled the exam in early april, but after reading Ursula's post, I decided to finish Official Guide, at least for verbal section. I think it's an excellent Idea to systematically record where you make mistakes and redo those questions. In practice exams, I practiced controlling panic during verbal sections, but obivously I need to do little more on that front. During the actual exam, the quant section was pretty ductile with very few hard spots. In verbal section, I came across 2 lengthy RCs and I think that's where things started getting off-track. I plan to take the exam again in few weeks with complete overhaul of my strategies for verbal section. Any suggestions are most welcome. Good luck everybody!! |
