I feel that you should read all the chapter from critical reasoning Bible. The commnets of author are very great. What ever he says in last chapters will be helpful in other types of questions. Of course you should have time to read those chapters. If you have few days left for your GDate then read the important ones. Regarding CR1000 i solved around 700 of them. My approach was t omake myself ready for any type of question. When you get comfortable solving difficult question you don't feel overwhelmed on th exam day. Your approach should be understanding what the author is saying. Understanding the main conclusion and then selecting the option. Later analyze why you got the answer correct or wrong. The more you expose yourself to tough problem the better you will feel on the exam day. All the best. |

I am attaching the list of Problems I had noted while preparation. One document is from OG10 and and other is general good problems.
The Document on OG10 problems also contain a section at the end where I have compiled all the problems which I felt are difficult. I am not able to upload the file as its size is more that allowed size limit. So I have uploaded the document on esnip.com..below are the links Star's GMAT Folder esnsips. Folder I have made notes of Grammar rule from Bob, Erin and other members that Ifound useful. Also I have noted the good notes from OG10. If you guys find hte baove notes interesting please let me know wheather I should upload the document on verbal also. I didn't read it often but I guess its good to read it once. Let me know. I am not sure how t oaccess that link. I have uploaded document but don't how to get the link to it by which all those who want it can get it. If anybody knows about this please let me know. The aforementioned name is the name of the folder. |

Congratulations Star321, it is really nice to see an active member of this forum scoring above 700.
I also score 620 in my 1st test, hope can improve the next time! I find CR1000 questions are far easier than those from the real test. What do you think? |

Congrats, star on your score. The struggle paid off.
I'm working on GMAT targeting 750+. For that, I am working on LSAT materials first for reading comprehension and critical reasoning. I think a person's state of mind is very important while taking the test. Twinnsplitter said that its like working like an athlete does while training in a gymnasium. One thing at a time. But an athlete also works on his diet, his nutrition, his overall well-being to be able to achieve his target. Do you think a person's dietary practice i.e. Can my being a vegetarian be a hindrance to achieving a score around 750? Thanks. |
