760 GMAT 49 Quant, 44 Verbal, 6.0 AWA

I just finished with my GMAT on the 9th.

Checked out the test center a day in advance. My test was at 8 in the morning, so I got there before 7:30.

Most of my practice had been from Kaplan, Princeton and the Official Guide books. I did all the CAT's in these three.

I also tried out some of the stuff from Barrons and a books called Ace the GMAT - but they were very unhelpful and full of typos.

I started preparing in the end of December to take my test in the first week of March. Until February, I just practiced stuff from the books. I took my first CAT- the first one grom GMATprep about 3 weeks before the exam. After that I took a CAT every other day or so, and finally took the second GMATprep cat on the Saturday before the test.

I did some revision on the day before, wrote down some formulae to help me remember, went over the things that I found most difficult etc.

In spite of all my prep I found myself short on time in the Quants section. The Verbal went ok for me though.

that is great. Well in my case I have my gmat on Wednesday in the afternoon. my practice gmat score has been varying. I got 600 in GMAT prep 1 after that i had got 550. I was doing kaplan an got 530 as the highest.
i did give GMAT prep 2 on sunday an was shocked I got 540. This was probably due to I was tired had 1 hour or driving session before hand..I guess.

Any suggestions for last two days.....

What did you think of Kaplan? I have heard that Kaplan is much better for lower score targets (that is my perception too from the Kaplan stuff I have had).

Hey I had 410 today in my thrid attempt my first was 470...... my score is continuously falling . i have given up.... guess this is not my type exam. My last GMAT Prep test preperation was 650.....

Kaplan is pretty good. So's Princeton Review though both a skewed down by 30-40 points.

But they give the tough questions that the Official Guide books don't really tackle. And the test itself was much more difficult that the Official Guide guides.
