appeared for my GMAT exam yesterday(29th april) and got a 710 (q:49,v:38).
I would have been happy had this unfortunate thing not happenned.

I had a damn bus ticket in my jeans pocket.

Before the exam started,the invigilator asked me to check my jeans pocket,i checked and lots of stuff like atm receipts etc came out .unfortunately,there was this damn bus ticket that stayed back..not sure how..

After AWA decided to take the 10 minutes break.went out of the test centre..and when i came back and the invigilator asked me to checked my pockets again,this damn bus ticket popped out..

And she reported this to GMAC..

Lost 5 minutes of my quant section in trying to convince the invigilator
and had to guess the last 5-6 questions.
Quant was a bit tougher than Gprep.Had two probability questions which I m sure I did wrong.

Verbal was very similar to gprep.

If my score doesnt get cancelled(M praying hard for the best),I shall apply for sep 2010 intake.

kaplan online cat:670

gprep 1:680
gprep 1(1st repeat):710
gprep 1(2nd repeat):710
gprep 2:730
gprep 2(1st repeat):760
gprep 2(2nd repeat):750
gprep 1(3rd repeat):750

I started preparing since feb 09

Tried hard to follow the strategy stated in this blog:

If my scores donot get cancelled,i'll repost with a detailed debrief if anyone is interested.
and if it does,I will retake the exam in a month.not sure if I can score better.

did somebody have a similar kinda experience on G-day?
And any idea on how and when will i know if my score is being cancelled?

did you get an unofficial test report? if yes, i do not think your score is cancelled.

Next time drive to the test center.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SCORE!!!

Your score will not be cancelled unless the people at GMAT are heartless individuals with no souls (actually if that is the case, there is a good chance your score might be cancelled

). Remember you are being recorded on tape and that could work to your advantage because it would show that you never pulled anything out of your pockets. I think you'll be just fine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

hey guys..got my official score card today.awa 5.
i think my score is not cancelled.
