Help and Advise really Needed
Guys, I have just recently started being vocal in this forum, but have always read through posts and have found Earthlings to be very motivating and encouraging. I have been extremely stressed about thie GMAT. I have been studying on weekdays and weekends, but recently put in a month of hard core studying. Prior to starting, I had scored a 610 on power prep and then after a month, I gave another test and scored only 580 (Q40, V30). I am really devastated.
Below are some of my scores for other practice tests. Manhattan GMAT #1 630 Manhattan GMAT #2 590 KAPLAN #1 620 Kapalan # 2 540. I have done a couple of official paper tests as well in which I scored 610 -670, but I won't give this much credit, as one has to self time these exams. There is absolutely no pattern with my scores. Seems like its random. I have also used the following resources 1) OG 11, 10, 12 2) Additional OG verbal and quant books 3) Kaplan Verbal and Math guides, and Extensive prep book 4) Bellcurves (one month access) I am really hitting the low --- I have been practicing since Jan 2009--, but since with work, it is difficult. I want to apply to to the top schools for which 700+ is a must. Could you please advise what I should do? You advise is much appreciated. Thank you. |
