760 (q50, V41), Awa 5.5

I gave my GMAT in May but was not able to post because I was on a vacation to India. Here are the books that I used in the order of there usefulness to me -
1. Manhattan SC
2. OG 11
3. OG 11 Verbal Review
4. Powerscore critical reasoning
5. Kaplan 800
6. Manhattan Geometry
7. Manhattan critical reasoning
8. Princeton Verbal Review
9. Online resources for probablity, permutations and combinatations.

For AWA I just read some online blogs and debriefings of people and had an idea of the templates that I found on these forums. Thanks to Erin!

For some of the details of the D-Day and days leading up to the day - please read here - Thoughts and then some more...

Adabass,
Hi. I am in Houston as well man! I studied really hard, and was doing well on all pratise tests, including www.mba.com (avg score 680 plus). When I gave my exam last week, I scored 630. I felt the questions were a lot harder. I had studied using OG 11, Princeton Review and Kaplan Premier, and gave about 5 tests total. I am quite disappointed. But need to give the test again to make sure I can score higher to increase my chances of getting into a top 20 school. Would be nice to get some tips from you, and possibly meet up since you are in Houston. Let me know.
My personal email: vmehta1725@gmail.com.
Thanks.

Thanks all.

@Gentleman1725 - You would need to focus on why are you receiving low scores. In my case verbal was almost the problem for me and I spent 80% of my preparation on verbal. I will PM you my email address. You can reach out to me for any info you need that I can help you with.

@finsisher - I also was very disturbed after seeing that low score, but as I said I was under a lot of work pressure at that time and was not able to focus.
