Krishna, I used Manhattan SC 3rd edition. This was written for OG 11. Now I think they have a 4th edition written for OG 12. One difference is the list of questions at the end for each topic. These will refer to OG 12 in the latest edition. I have not read the latest Manhattan SC so not sure of any other differences. Also note that the GMAC Verbal supplement is equally important. And, OG 12 has a lot of bold faced critical reasoning questions which appear frequently on the real exam. For my SC preparation, I read a chapter in Manhattan SC, and then did the exercises and questions from OG (and not the verbal supplement) corresponding to that topic. After finsihing all the chapters, I did OG again, trying to find errors in ALL the answer choices. Reading the answer explanations in OG helps a lot. After this, I did the verbal supplement, timing myself. Once this was done, I did a few questions every day until the test. The idea is to get to a point where as you read a question, you will identify similar questions you have done in the past, and look for similar answers .. Hope this helps. All the best for your test .. |
