Took GMAT Yesterday 690 (Q49, V34)

I took the GMAT yesterday and scored a 690 (Q49, V34). I studied for a week (intense prep) and another 10 days (2-3 hrs a day)

I am planning to give the test again on 9/26

I am disappointed with my Verbal Score. I was unable to effectively use all the concepts such as diagramming from Manhattan GMAT as well SC rules that I crammed in the last 15-20 days before the exam under severe time constraints of the test. I am especially weak on the critical reasoning and made several "so called" educated guesses on the test rather than actually narrow down and eliminate options.

I need advice on how to approach CRs and SCs better during my next (and final) attempt...Any help is highly appreciated.

690 is a decent score. congratulations ...
Manhattan SC guide for SC is v.good ... critical reasoning use LSAT Official test .. there are loads of critical reasoning type questions in there .... good luck ...

690 is a good score.. for SC I guess you should try gmatsentencecorrection.blogspot.com .. i find it to be a useful site
