570 (48 25)---shock shock shock shock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All,

This is my first post here.I gave my exam today and shockingly scored 580.

Q-42,V-27

I am very disappointed since I was scoring in the 650-700 range regularly during practice tests and verbal has relatively been my forte,which makes the result all the more perplexing.

A few observations :-
I think that GMAT has significantly upped the ante on both the quant. as well as verbal since I found the questions in both sections tougher.
In the quant. section the data sufficiency questions were quite difficult whereas on the verbal I found the critical reasoning questions extremely difficult .

I am planning to hit the GMAT hard the next time around since know I am much more capable than this score suggests.

Am planning to change my approach by solving less papers and focussing more on quality.Since I have exhausted the PR as well as the OG books,can someone suggest alternate books ????
