GMAT 580 - 48 Q / 25 V - 78 and 32 percentile overall 60 percentile

It was a good two months of effort. OG 12, OG 11, Manhattan and 800 score for verbal.

Math was comparable to Gprep. It was also clear that i was not doing well in verbal and the results were not surprising.

I beleive to have a good work experience in the risk and business advisory in oil and gas space. Will this score qualify me to satisfy basic application requirements for LBS / INSEAD and IMD MBA programs. Though the criteria of GMAT will not be a strength, will i qualify for entry requirements? I have seen the GMAT range is 600 to 800.

Hi Sudharsh,

I too like you and sgmat had prepared well ( atleast I thought so ) .....I really dont understand where I went wrong ........you should retake it once as I believe your B School choices require a higher score ......we are all in the same boat (below 600 :-( ).......I am sure gurus like 12rk34 , abhishek_mumbai, adi_800 and super gurus like Erin and 800bob can help you with advice....I remember reading debriefs of 700 quite often ....but now the recent posts of test experience is not encouraging...dont loose heart take gmat again.

I have really researched, finally realized that i need to up the ante.....

I need to deserve before i desire....

Can the good souls here advise on ways to improve my verbal score...

I am thinking of OG 10, 11, 12, Manhattan. any other suggestion for verbal?

what is the reference about 1000 series, where can i get them?

you score is supposed to be 620... I think there is a flaw in calculator......
