Hi Abhishek,

Congrats. Nice work and well done. I was away from the country so just got a chance to see your scores and replies. I guess you must be celebrating Diwali and this score by this time. You deserve some celebration.

You have replied to my forums, questions etc. So I know you have good knowledge and put in some hard work for GMAT. From my view, its a good score. I was bit disappointed with your initial score 650 because I felt you deserve more. Infact I was saying to my wife that this guy deserves more than 650.

From my observation I see you have good presentation skills going by your replies on this forum and also good analytical intelligence as well. As far as I know your score 700 is good enough to go for Major schools in US. My personal recommendation is try for US schools as well. GMAT score is part of your application process. Going by your presentation skills, command over language, work experience I would bet that there is quite lot of chances for you to break into schools in US. Guys like you from India do well in securing other packages such as work, friends, social clubs in US. I hope I am not building up your expectations. Its purely my observation on you. Good luck for your next step.

I may have to trouble you on asking some web links for prep and will send you a personal message later. Would you be able to help me out?

Thanks, Raj

thanks a lot for your faith in me.. I really admire your modesty and your post is really encouraging. I have been in US for almost 2 years and made many friends there.. I was an active member of YMCA and snow relief camps..

Please feel free to ask for any study material you need... drop me a message and I will try to reply all of them.

Thanks,
Abhi

I have said it to everyone.. You can improve Maths by practice.. Practice hard and difficult questions but before you try your muscle power on these questions, it is also recommended to make your foundation strong.. read concepts, learn formulas (make flash cards).. You can do this from any good high school book.. The latter part - practice - is more challenging. You can start with solving questions on this forum.. search on tough, difficult etc and solve the questions.. Don't worry about speed in the beginning. you will automatically improve speed over the time... It is also important to understand Vedic maths rules or quick maths to save your time in calculations..

thanks,
Abhi
