For some reason, I didn't get any email alerts.
My opinion/answers 1. Minimum time for preparation - depends. I know few smart Earthlings who have done it in 2 weeks. 2. How did u study the month before ... tests on Sat & practice q's during the week 3. Average hours spent ... 2 hrs during week & 6 hrs on weekends 4. How did i improve manhattan q from 44 to 50 ... made sure i answered all 37 qs 5. took my test in chicago 6. focus on last 15 days ... relaxed & did notin in last week 7. Difficulty level ... actual vs gmatprep 8. Anxiety close to test ... relaxed in last week & strong belief in "GMAT IS NOT THE END THE WORLD". NEITHER IS IT THE ONLY CRITERION TO GET IN MBA SCHOOL. And I mean it when I say this. 9. Manage w FT work ... try to get in at least 1-2 hrs of some work on Gmat everyday. It can be anything, few q's, brush up concepts etc 10. Confidence shaking ... dont take Gmat too seriously, there r many beautiful & imp things in life ... for me volleyball & friends. Also try to understand the root cause for your low score. If you know the root cause & how to prevent the same, u will have thy confidence. For me the root cause was "lack of concentration" on my Gmat prep2. 11. Gmat prep - start w Manhattan gmat guides, OG, OG verbal review. I didn't use any other books. So cant help you w that. I hope I answered all q's. Thanks a lot for the kind words and wishes. Kaushik |

Hi kaushik,
So your last test taken before the actual GMAt was GMAT Prep 2. So how did u scale up from 660(Prep 2) to 750 (Real) score. Please brief on that. Did u felt like losing or quitting up in the last few days, if so how did to buck yourself up,; it will be really helpful. |
