I am pretty happy with my score (Q41, V39). I didn't put a hell of a lot of time into preparing, and it's been quite a few years since I've done much mathematics.
I did not sleep well the night before the exam, probably due to stress and having driven five and a half hours the evening before to the centre. So, I was not in top form the morning of the exam. It may have cost me a few points, but not a lot. My advice, though, since the GMAT is something of an endurance test, is to try to make arrangements so that you are relaxed and focussed on the test day. Of course it depends on the individual, but you should probably not study the day before and try to unwind.
The verbal section went well, but I ran out of time in the Quantative section and pretty much guessed the last ten questions in about five minutes. I got the impression that the test pushes you to answer the most difficult question you can, often at the expense of time. I think I made the right choice taking a little longer to answer the more difficult questions. I know that I reached my limit.
If I had more time, I could have prepared better, but I did want to get a score so I can start mailing my applications in the next couple of weeks.
