Good Job , Solita
thy score is not low, its pretty good.
hello everyone !!
Today, I finished the test and I am happy with my score. exactly one month ago, I took the test and got 580. I had studied a lot.. finished the Official Guide, kaplan, princeton, etc.... so, I was really disillusioned, after one week in misery, I decided to take the test again. So, this time I focused on verbal, especially sentence correction because in the first test, I had confronted many sentence correction questions one after the other in the beginning, which I think lowered my score.
right now,I am so tired that I just don't know what to say![]()
I want to thank all the members of this forum whose posts helped me a lot.
And also, thank you Erin !!, because reading your posts on this site and on sentencecorrection.com and all the other material that you wrote on grammar really helped me improve my score.
I also want to write about the test.
A funny thing happened in the AWA part, my topic for the "analysis of an issue " part was actully the same as the one in my first test. I don't know if this is a common thing or not but I couldn't believe it during the test.
The quant was actually easier than the quant part of my first test. Very very easy probability questions....
In the verbal part, in the beginning I had 7 sentence correction questions one after the other, then a very tough reading comp passage which I did pretty badly, the rest I just don't remember
I know my score is quite low among the scores that we see here, but still with a 100 points improvement, I am more optimistic in my applications.

Solita, Congratulations! Your hard-work and determination paid off.
My story is actually exactly like yours. I just took my GMAT today morning. I got a 590 (Q 42, V 28). Even though, I need to improve my math, my verbal score brought my overall score down. I also thought that SC were tougher than what I encountered in Official Guide.
How did you prepare 2nd time around both for math and verbal and what helped you to increase that score by 100pts. I am also planning to take it again in a month or so. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
