    560 GMAT (from 470)

I ended my rigour and my fight with GMAt but it only reached half way to where I wanted it.

    I got 560(Q 44 V 23). Should I appear again?

    Thanks.

Congrats on your great jump from the 470!

Personally, I would apply with the 560, but would continue to study for the GMAT, so that in case I don't get accepted I can take the test again and reapply.
Just make sure that you have great essays...

    Best wishes to you!

I am also wondering where you are interested in applying? If you play your dice right, you can get into a good school where you would major in something that is more mathy than verbal.

I also agree with StormGal, it couldn't hurt to take the test again, especially since you could just focus on verbal skills rather than quantitative skills as you've demonstrated some of the more trickier problems.

Very true - even if you don't want to major in something that's math related, you can always switch majors in the middle of your studies after you "proved" your verbal skills

Any thoughts on the exam? Did you take it in July or June? Were you scoring higher on the practice tests? Did you find it tougher than the first one? Was the verbal much harder? Please share your thoughts. Cheers,

Guys, I scored a 23 on V and 44 on M and therefore I intend to take the GMAT again. From where should I start for verbal improvement as I'm a non-native English speaker?
