hello all,
Just got back frm my GMAT test. I think I did OK. I was getting similar scores when I took the Powerprep tests. I have been a silent member on this forum and would like to thank all contributors for their input. I solved quite a few sample problems posted here and that combined with the explanations helped. I also used Spidey's & Erin's SC notes.
Regarding my test, Math was OK. I got a perm/combination question as high as # 5 on the test, also a simple probability question was about # 10, had one mean, median DS question. The rest of the questions werent very difficult, I got the feeling that they were just testing on the basics.
Verbal was OK. SC's werent difficult I think I did OK on them.RC'S were fine except for a long one which I think I screwed up for want of time.
I used the Princeton Review and the Official Guide for studying. In my opinion, those are enuf. I gave the Princeton Review CAT tests and got an avg of 730-740 on those. Got similar scores on the Pwerprep.
The key to a good score I believe is practice & practice & more practice from Official Guide and realizing the most common concepts being tested.
Good Luck.
