Hi,

Just did GMAT yesterday. Unofficial report stated Quant 43 (71%), Qual 44 (97%), givnig an overall of 710 (95%).

I did Kaplan and Kaplan800 cover to cover, but didnt really allow enough time to do practice tests. If I had done 2 more weeks of practice exams, I think I could have scored 750 >>> but it's all good as my aim was a score over 700.

I thought I did really well on the maths, so was surprised to see only 71%. Can someone explain to me how it is possible that my Quant and Qual scores were so similar, yet the percentiles are way different?

Also - how is it possible to combine a 71% and a 97% and end up with 95%? Has there been an error somewhere???

Thanks,

Erick.

Congratulations! Very good score.

How did you find SC and CR. Someone said that the verbal is really hard this month. Did you use the Official Guide?

Thank you for your time.

Think about it--how many people are in the 10th percentile in Verbal? How many in Quant? How many in both? This last number will be a lot lower, don't you agree?

I didnt use the Official Guide - although in hindsight I should have.

I was given three RC's - when I was only expecting two. I found the CR OK - but I had to read some of the questions 3-4 times to find the right answer.

Does anyone know if your actual score posted to business schools ever differs from the 'unofficial' score you ae given after the test?
