Do you know what he said to Zidane? Why the heck is Materazzi not complaining or for that matter never even complained to referee when he was hit (when the Italians are known to dramatize everything)

Nobody, frankly nobody should take **** whether be it in world cup final (your family & self respect is bigger than the game surely) or on the streets! Based on lip readers, it emerges that Materazzi insulted Zidane's sister, mother and called him a 'terrorist' suggesting that Zidane being Algerian didnt have the right to play for France.

Completely concur with ticktacktoe "the trick lies in how much cool can you maintain at such time and focus on real thing." Zizou's rashness cost France the cup and if he cant take the pressure and all the assorted things,then how does he deserve to be in the same league as Pele. Ohh well..Maradona..another genius who went wrong.."hand of GOD" and "1982 WC when he kicked a Brazilian and was red-carded" Cannavaro should have been awarded the Best Player award.
