Havent really decided on the list of schools i want to apply to.

My profile:
Male, 25, Indian, Married
3.5 GPA, Bachelor of Engineering - University of Melbourne, Australia
Work Ex: 3.5 Years, Entrepreneur - Owner of a Media firm (Broadcasting), in India
GMAT: 700 (Q47, V40)

Post-MBA i wish to enter into the Media & Entertainment industry of the US.

Congrats on your score ! My test is coming up in a week, I just hope I can do well. I haven't tried GMAT Prep yet (due to lack of study time, got an unexpected busy weeks lately, and I'm freaking out about this !!! ), tried Kaplan Higher Score (Kaplan 2006) CAT twice, first time I got 550, second time I got 620. I think Kaplan's verbal is a mess, their RC is terrible (I think the passages are much harder than the ones in Official Guide 11th) and their SC is not any good either (I think there are many invalid questions -- > no correct answer). Let me know if you also experience the same thing with Kaplan CAT tests. I really want to know if I'm doomed with the scores that I got from their tests.

I just wanted to ask, how do i find out about my AWA scores? There is absolutely nothing on the mba.com site about them. Do i just sit tight and wait for an email from the GMAC or is there a webpage where i can check my scores?

Hi all, called the helpline and got my official scores in mail today.

Got a 6.0 on the AWA. Now its final, i wont be retaking the GMAT. Good luck and thanks to all once more.

Very quick question please:

Yesterday I took GMATprep test and encountered 2 RC passages merely 2 paragraphs long. First I thought they were CR.
So how long RC questions are in real GMAT? Did you have any RC passage where you needed to scroll down to see the rest of the text?

Hi,

Yes, in fact my last RC question on the GMAT was a small 2 paragraph question, which i might add, was a huge relief, as i was running short on time.

But i doubt out of the possible 4 (5 max) RC questions, you will get TWO that are that concise. Usually the ones in the middle are marathon length and fairly complex i.e. of a topic that you wouldve never ever read in your life about, with multiple alien phrases, names, biological processes etc.
