Thanks everyone for the kind words.

To answer the questions --

I thought the last third of OG11 was very similar to the real GMAT. However, please keep in mind that I scored q49, not q51. I definitely struggled with a few of the final OG11 quant questions, and perhaps the people who are saying OG11 is a lot easier than the real thing are the ones with q50 or q51. Having said that, GMATPrep should take you right to the same level of difficulty as you would get on the real thing.

Other question about GMATClub Challenge Sets, you can find them on www.gmatclub.com. Follow the link for "Challenge". They are tough stuff, but excellent practice.

The best debriefing hands down! If this doesn't get a sticky by Erin, nothing should. Your determination is palpable. Congratulations on your score. You EARNED it.

Update from author

In case anyone is still reading my debrief, I thought I'd give an update.

I have in the meantime been accepted by Kellogg, and unfortunately got a 'ding' from H/S/W. My extracurriculars were not spectacular, I had no community service on my resume, and that simply kills you at these schools.

Looking back on my GMAT experience, two things have stuck in my memory as the most valuable advice:

1. A good score can't get you in, but a bad score will keep you out.
The GMAT is one of the few parts of your admissions dossier you can still influence. You owe it to yourself to make the most out of it. An MBA is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so study accordingly.

2. Your GMAT score is not a reflection of your intelligence, but of your preparedness.
Since my acceptance at Kellogg, I have met smarter people who had lower GMAT scores. They simply studied less. Analyze and improve your test-taking weaknesses to death, and you -will- get a good score.

Good luck to everyone.

GMAT scores are inflating by the day, so stand out while you still can.
