Folks,
Have a question about expected score.

So far :
690 in Kap diag
600 Kap CAT1
Just took PP1 today and got 660 (Q48 V32) (Not yet started OG)

A bit disappointed with PP1 score. Do you think I can cross 700 if I do the OG thoroughly from this poit on..Appreciate your feedback.

piyusht is on the way!
by some thumb rule: add 100 to thy KAPLAN CAT scores... so all d best .. if u can mantain the tempo, im sure u can easily cross 700.
OG IS bible for nothing..dnt miss it!

Hello folks!

Adding my 2 cents to this great thread:

a) Kaplan Paper Exam: Q49, V41, Total = 680
b) Kaplan CAT 3: Q42, V35, Total = 640
c) PP1: Q45, V35, Total = 650
d) PP2: Q47, V40, Total = 710

e) Real GMAT: Q49, V34, Total = 680

Will retake the exam. I made the mistake of only consulting Kaplan 2005 + Kaplan 800 in my preparations.

Download GMAT Prep test

Hi,

I have little time about 20 days. I already started preparation few months back but got only 490 in te last month and the school want me to achieve at least 560. Hmm. I have started working seriously on the OG but need to download really genuine practice test.

I talked to Kaplen but they have only one test in the crash course. I know there are few sites sell these test $ 20 to $ 30 for 5 tests. But I would like to get advise before I download them. They are not expensive but I could waste valued time if they are not genuine.
Pl. help friends.

Hi all,

I am just beginning to prepare for the GMAT. Took it the first time 2 years ago. Scored a 690 which is not enough for my first choice school. I had prepared intensely for the forst time around, but somehow felt that I didn't "work smart".

My questions to you all are as follows:

1. what is the most efficient way to practise from the OG? Do a specific number of questions at a time? Simulate tests by picking 15 questions from each of the sections and solve them under time constraints?

2. Before taking the PP1 - should one go throught the PR and Kaplan books as well as tests?

Appreciate your kind response(s).

Cheers,
R

Thanks for the great suggestions. I am in urgent need of soft copies of OG materials. By the time the ordered materials come, it'll be just on the verge of the exam. Can someone please mail those to me (stut03@yahoo.com). It'll be a great help. Looks like some of the links got broken and unable to download from anywhere.

Thanks in advance,
Stuti
