Kindly let me know how to prepare in the last 15 days. i will be grateful. I am doing sets 21-30 right now. Let me know what you think. My weakest areas as per me are critical reasoning and reading comprehension. Any inputs on the study pattern / exams to take would be great. Thanks. Many Thanks. -Regards, Girish Malik |

I find this discussion really interesting. I would like to add that it also depends on how well you are able to hold on to your nerves on the G'day. So even if you performance has been very good on gmat prep, the same might not be reflected on real GMAT score.

The day before G day, I took 40 SCs from the cracked version of Gprep1 and failed 6 questions. After the exam, I got home and took a whole verbal set of Gprep1 and also only failed 6 questions and most of those questions were not repeated. |

guys, i need some help:how do the 800 score tests compare to the real thing? i think the math is harder in 800 score tests than that in OG11. Also, i scored a 43 in Quant in the kaplan diagnostic, and i only got 6 wrong. isnt that too low? i got 3 wrong on the PR test, and scored a quant 50 (is that too high??). can someone please, please guide me about the math in GMAT? Are OG 11, GMAT prep and Power Prep enough to score a Q: 45 or above? Also, how do these score translate into the real thing?PPREP 1: 690GMAT PREP: 680PR: 720please help me!I'm very very scared about the math section. I've never scored below Q43...except on 800 score, where I seem to get 15 wrogn at one time!!thankyou

I just finished taking the GMAT. Here's how my scores compared to my practice test.
GMATPrep Practice Test #1 Quant - 49 Verbal - 47 Total score 770 GMAT actual test Quant - 49 Verbal - 42 Total score 760 I did not do any studying or preparation between the practice test and the actual. I only took one practice test. What I would change: On the practice test I monitored my time better than on the actual test. On the actual test I ran out of time on the Quatitative section and had to guess randomly on the last 5 questions. On the actual test verbal section I worked faster than I needed to, and completed the section with 6 minutes to spare. Hope this helps others who are preparing for the GMAT! |
