700 (v35, q49)... need help with the apps process
Hi Everyone,
First of all, thank you all at TM for the help you have provided me over the past month. I just happened to run into TM about a month ago while searching for some good GMAT questions on the web. Since then I have been hooked to TM. At TM, folks have been really helpful with their insightful answers to some tough questions and the very desire of these folks to help their fellow TM members has made it a worthwhile learning experience for me. I am again turning to you guys at TM for help with the apps. I am close to the deadline when it comes to 2007 fall applications, so I may have to think about pursuing my MBA career next year. Question to GMAT test takers who took your GMAT around this time of the year: are any of you applying for 2007 fall or are most of going to apply for next fall? I am planning to do a part time MBA while continuing to do my full-time day job. I am open to relocating to pursue my MBA goal. Can you please suggest some good universities that I may be eligible to apply to based on the GMAT score? Can you please suggest some good universities that provide courses on-line. Thanks a lot! |

I am currently working in the field of RF and Microwave ... I am application engineer working for a test and measurement company. Originally from India, I came to the US in 1995.. got my MS in Mech. Engineering. I made a career switch from mechanical to electrical engineering about 5 years ago all the time working for this same t&m company (our company makes a wide range of instrumentation used in different fields - data acquisition, cellular communication test, etc.). Although, I did not have a clear goal about when to start my MBA, I just wanted to get the gmat out of the way. That is when I started to prepare for the gmat. Now, I am looking at fall 2008 to join in an MBA program. I am yet undecided on whether to do it full-time or part-time. Are there advantages of one over the other? Please provide your thoughts.

I am located in Colorado (middle of nowhere!). I am considering the following: 1) University of Chicago Weekend MBA Autumn 07. This will require that I fly back and forth between Chicago and Colorado every weekend.. I don't know whether it will be a right move. 2) Wharton SF Evening MBA Summer 08. Just as above, it will require flying back and forth. Only difference is that since the class meets every other wknd, I don't have to fly every wknd. |
