Congratulations man. I have a question.
CAn you please suggest any place where I can practice good tough reading comprehension. I hear quite often that reading comprehension on the GMAT are actually tougher than GMAT Prep and that is where people generally mess up. Also I realy suck at SCs. I got a 700 in first GMAT Prep and out of the 18 errors that I made about 10-11 were in SCs. Any way to improve on that? Also I would like to ask you guys which is the best book to get a quick overview of all the quant concepts tested on the GMAT? I mean which book covers everything from fractions to probability and perm and combs? |

TBAY,
I sat for the GMAT this morning and did horrible, scored 420. It is the lowest score that I have seen. I studied for about 3 months, reviewed Manhattan books, Powerchase critical reasoning Bible mainly for critical reasoning and did attempted about 8 mock tests, mainly Manhattan and Gmat Prep. My scores ranged between 500-600, however I had not seen anything as low as today's score. I thought I did well right before the horrible score showed up right in front of my face. Anyways, I just read your post and hopefully by walking on your footsteps I will be able to do better over time. I am prepared to get back and do well but am not sure what is the best way to figure out "what you really are doing wrong and how to change your strategies" Thanks for the amazing note-it does inspire a lot of us who are out there struggling. -SP |
