Hi Friends, First of all a little bit about myself: I am new to this website and I am very impressed with it. I am preparing to take my second try at GMAT. I did take once in March'03 and got a 610 (not v happy). I am pretty good at QUANT and need a lot of improvement at VERBAL. Well, here is my question: I see a lot of scores in this forum. With numbers for Q and V. Some of them have Q=50 and V=upper 30s have touched 700's. And some of them have a balanced Q and V(40's) but are in their upper 600's. Is there an approximate formula, to come to a ball park on what the total score would be for a specific Q and V value. My interest in the question: I am confident of scoring 50 in Q but am trying (struggling in fact ) to target 30-35 is V. So, I wanted to know what total score would Q=50 & V=30-35 amount to ? And I would welcome any specific suggestions on improving my VerbalMy best wishes to all the test takers this week. Thanks, Ravi |
