I am planning to take my GRE date on 31st Dec, New York City Prometric center (1 Penn Plaza). I have yet to start some serious preparation to brutally kill this test. I am employed fulltime so can't afford to waste anymore time, weekends, or for that matter retake the exam after any 1st unsuccessful attempt.

Any tips would be appreciated.

i am also going to take the test on that day. lets start to crack vocabulary skill- the most important thing.

I have not yet looked at Maths and AWA. I started with wordlist and think I am not going to make to for the exam on 27th Dec.

I took a mock and scored Q:450 V:430.

With a full time demanding job (finance domain) right in the heart of NYC where the 'mess' is, I am finding it even more difficult to cope up with this studying business.

Hey, I have given yesterday power pep, I scored 720in math and 310 in verbal as, I am starting studying again all ... word list....

Hey I am also giving Exam on 30 Dec in NC. I am not native english speaker. Totally confused in verbal section.

hey guys..
well i had given my gre in nov.. and i wud like to advice u wid one thing.. esp fr d one who strtd dis thread..i knw u gt jus 15 days fr d exam
here's a tip fr d quant and verbal section..

quant: DO BARRON'S THOROUGHLY.. it will suffice fr an excellent score.. i did it that..and by God's Grace gt a 760 which is totaly cool fr me!

now fr verbal.. take sum small notepad or u knw sticky notes pad..small size.. do barron's word list fr these letters by making flash cards.. write d word on one side and its meanin on d other side.. so go ahead fr letters like a, b, c, d, e, i, m, n, o, p, r, s, t...
dis is jus a simple suggestion . and make sure u do d big buk verbal sectn.. 2 pprs per day! and hopefully u wil do great..

if u don have time to make flash cards.. go to flashcard exchange.com and chk fr gre verbal list or sumthn like dat..
