1150. Still hope flickers....

1150=v-470 and q 680.

I gave the GRE on last 28th November from Dhaka, Bangladesh and got the above mentioned score. It was my first time.

I was very disappointed first but now I have found many universities who accept this range of score. My intended program is mass communication, so the verbal score is important.

During preparation, I emphasized entirely on verbal area and targeted for a 600+ score. But as you see, I am much behind. To future test takers I would like to say, learn whether v or q section is important for you. I think it is hard to get a 600+ in verbal, but it is rather easier to get a 780 (if not 800) in q.

So if u r from eng/science, first have a rigorous and enough preparation on q. Then focus on verbal.

My discipline gives little value to q scores. So, even with this score, I am hoping to get over the barrier of admission. Allah know the best. All please pray for me.
