Hi guys. I took the GRE in Nov08, got Q690, V530, A4.5. I applied to a pharmacoeconomics program which is very competitive (PORPP at the University of Washington). I didn't get in

. I need to retake the GRE sometime in September. If anyone else is retaking the GRE, please share your experience! And encouragement! Thanks.

Hi Monkeydluffy

. I was advised that I need to improve my math score too, but Im wondering what is the best test material to do it? I tried taking the sample test at 800score.com but it seemed more difficult than the actual GRE

. Ideas?

You can try NOVA GRE for math. It has the most comprehensive math section Ive seen so far.

I too am planning to take in Aug or Sept, all depends on how ready I am or close I am to my goal score. If you folks want to form a study group, let me know. I have done this in the past for my GMAT and our group did exceptionally well. We would share ideas and discuss problems and solutions via Skype and emails.

I just took and canceled my first GRE today... I totally aced the AWA and verbal sections, but I blanked in the math. I was so concerned about the importance of the first 10 questions I took way too much time on them. And as I look back, I blanked on really relatively simple questions, which I basically panicked about because I didn't read them right. Long story short, I came to have 5 minutes left for the last 9 questions, although I'm pretty sure the difficulty level was high at that point, and just cancelled. I'd rather work on my timing and nerves for next time than have to deal with a potential 700 or 600 something for 5 years on my cv....plan on taking it again in June asap.

I would be all for the study group also, I should have voided my scores when I took the test also. I totally mangled the timing and knew it.
