@bergmc00
thank you.. there are other good debriefs around here in forums, just dig more you will find many useful posts @rashmi_rrp if you are comfortable with quants concepts then just look for some tricks GRE likes to include in test(for e.g in one question decimal numbers are also to be considered in the question but naive GRE test taker just thinks about integers and falls for the trap), one way to do this is solve more n more tests and look for quants posts here in testmagic, they are very useful VERBAL: please find out what is the root cause of your low score in verbal? in my case it was vocabulary so I dedicated 5-6 days only to vocabulary, doing it daily for short durations over 1 month will also help... make sure you go through ENTIRE list at least once and then keep on refreshing it with every REVISION....it is important if you are not comfortable with the question types or lack strategies then improve on them and then give another test... see the result best luck. |

keep on revising it... nothing is better than continuous revision. reading comprehension was difficult for me too, I always looked at question first and then the passage - in that I read first and last sentence of each para very carefully and first and last para completely. But this method might not work for you, so best would be to practise actual RCs from bigbook and read barrons tips on reading comprehension questions. For analogy , form a sentence because relations are always precise - it is just the matter of hitting the right bridge. Bridge means connection between those words e.g. Dream:Reverie , now 'Reverie is an absent minded dreaming'. I used this just for example to show how to form sentences for analogies. For more refer barrons. big book is the best practice material available so continue doing it. |
