Let me be the first one to congratulate you
At last its over yesterday, 2 December. I found an extra math section where problems were very complicated. In some cases I had to type answers in a given box (no answer choice was given). While solving comprehension questions I found some advantages in sticking to the sentence reference questions and only skimming thru for the idea or main topic type questions.
Thanks the GRE Testmagic forum where I found precious suggestions during the preparation. Thank you all.
And me the second.
btw, the math section u got was the identified research section. Beats me how u missed the option of not taking it. It's only optional. It doesn't count towards thy score.
newayz glad that thy first post is on a happy note.
All the best for thy admissions
Hey, this is slightly unrelated, but when I took my GRE, instead of two verbal or two math sections, I had one of each and an identified, optional section of nonstandard GRE questions. It said that the top 100 scorers would get $250 (something like that?) but it was the last section, I was tired, and it clearly stated that it was optional, so I quit after doing the first 9 questions.
Is it just random whoever gets that section? My friend that took it the same time I did didn't get it; he got two verbal sections and one math section and had to do all three. When I took the GRE last year, I got two math sections and one verbal section.
Yeah it is completely randomised tough i guess very high scorers only get the identified research section. one of my friends got jus' the two sections and walked back home happily.Originally Posted by bluefly
