Took my GRE this morning. Very disappointed with my scores...guess I'll never make it to my dream schools.
Spent about 1 month preparing, using Princeton Review Cracking the GRE 2006. Also spent significant effort going through vocab list of around 1,400 words.
Took 8 CBT practice tests and my score ranges from:
510-650 V
780-800Q

I got 780Q 520V for the actual exam. The worst thing that happened was that my computer suddenly shut down, and I was completely shocked. Though the administrator managed to reload everything, I was already very frustrated.
Anyways, DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE the quant section. It's much more difficult that practice questions. I failed to answer my last question, and was rushing through the last 3 or 4.
Sigh...I have to just keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.
